♦  This is the only tool for cutting campfire wood.  My saw is a collapsible Coghlan Folding Saw, a light weight tool.  Works great.  Terry likes her Gerber Slide Saw, a folding saw for cutting up cook wood and kindling.  I can't tell you how many times I've seen campers chopping up fire wood.  That's labor intensive and takes up a lot of time and they usually don't chop up enough wood for the fire they want.  Get a saw, it's so much easier and faster but watch those teeth they bite just as bad as a ax.  For base camp saw nothing beats a Bow Saw.
