River & Trail offers guided whitewater rafting, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, cycling and hiking trips in the historic, scenic Harpers Ferry area. River trips and lessons take place in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia on the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers as well as Antietam Creek. 

We have used River and Trail Outfitters several times in the past if fact we took a tandum canoe lesson when Terry and I first got together.  It helped us get our canoe communication skills together.  This was important to us especially if we are to combine camping, canoe, and whitewater together .  The best 100 bucks we ever spent. I'm not quoating prices it was a long lime ago.  I think they have  a primitive campground on the Shenandoah River.  They are located on 340 W just before you cross the Potomac River Bridge in Maryland.
