First Aid
I don't believe in selling band aid kits for $15 to $25. For that money you can go into any pharmacy and buy exactly what you need without all that filler stuff you'll never use, for less. The Kits we offer are for more serious situations. Like the Personal Locators, these are items you hope you'll never need, but if you do they are darn handy and can salvage a trip or lessen a more serious injury and more than cover your average Band Aid box.
No kit is ever compete in my mind. As an EX-EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) there are always missing items. What medication do you take?, Do you have any special needs?, or Special meds for common ailments, always double the band aids and area adjust your kit. Most prepacked first aid kits have extra space to add more items.
Note: Some companys are marketing First Aid Kits for women. So since we here are women sensitive we checked it out. It turns out that the only difference between womens kits and regular kits are 2 tampons or pads, 2 disposable bags and some cramp pills. Save a few bucks and add your own. You'll be more comfortable using what you normally use rather than generic stuff.
If you are going out in the great outdoors for any length of time or in hard to get help areas, I recommend some first aid training. The American Red Cross, Local Fire Departments and some local hospitals offer courses or at lease read a First Aid Manual.
